Termini Centrale
Tony Conigliaro, internationally renowned drinks innovator and founder of the award-winning Bar Termini bar in Soho, announced the opening of a second outpost of the popular drinking spot, last week. Conigliaro opened the aptly named Bar Termini Centrale on Duke Street, Marylebone, with business partner Marco Arrigo – also head of quality at Illy coffee. Bar Termini Centrale takes inspiration from the old school-style cafes found in train stations across Italy, each designed to create the perfect pit stop for a weary traveller to have a quick coffee or cocktail pick me up before continuing with their journey. Termini Centrale builds on its predecessor, with a larger, all-day site offering reservations and walk-ins for the 40 covers inside, as well as an outdoor terrace seating up to 20, providing an enviable alfresco escape just moments away from Oxford Street. In addition, the new bar will also have a takeaway ‘breakfast hatch’, open from 8am each morning, giving passers-by the chance to grab their coffee of choice and pastry to go.
