The Beatles Unseen: Photographs by David Magnus
Photographs by David Magnus at Proud Chelsea unveils never before seen images of the Fab Four shot by Magnus 50 years ago. The Beatles, Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Keith Moon, Marianne Faithfull, Eric Clapton, Jane Asher and Pattie Boyd were all part of one special weekend back in June 1967 when The Beatles recorded their hit song All you need is Love for the first time during a live broadcast that was seen by 400 million people worldwide. Magnus was asked to document the live broadcast for BBC’s Our World and will be showcasing them for the first time at Proud Chelsea.
Paint the town green with Swift
Toast to a year of good-luck and merriment and mark this year's St Patrick's Day at Bar Swift this weekend. Swift will be hosting an Irish takeover all weekend, consisting of wall-to-wall Gaelic gaiety to celebrate the luck of the Irish. For both days, Guinness will replace the usual draft beer with the option to upgrade to a Boilermaker (with a shot of Jameson Black Barrel for just £7). Of course, Bar Swift's native oysters will be available all weekend, and the festivities will be made extra raucous with plenty of live Irish music.
